I was saddened when I found out that local children here aren't learning a lot of the old folk songs that I grew up learning like John Henry, The Boll Weevil, The Happy Wanderer. Those were sweet songs back then and I hate for us to lose a lot of what I consider our heritage. Thanks for commenting on my blog too!
